I have updated forum code to the latest version and installed couple of useful modifications:

• reCAPTCHA - should help us against spammers.

• Spam IP Check - uses global black lists to prevent known spammers from registering.

• EZBBC Toolbar - provides toolbar for easy use of bbcode in posts.

Please let me know if you notice any problems.

Yes quick post is a lot more useful now, with format buttons and preview function.

reCAPTHA defiantly prevents spam bots from registering but it is not very effective against human spammers, unless they've been flagged before. I would like to investigate other methods (in addition to reCAPTHA) which could analyze the behavior of users and detect suspicious activity and block them automatically.
