"Error" column name

Why does the column named "Error"? It is like you expect the errors to be.

Maybe you can name it more user friendly, like "Check result"? When I see "Errors = Ok" I get confuse: Do I have errors (as the column suggests) or there are no errors (Ok)?

Re: "Error" column name

You can hide the Error column altogether. The State column will show you if any files have issues and the summary message will tell you what kinds of issues have occurred. Then, you could display the Error column if you would want to see a specific error message for each file.

In that scenario the name "Error" matches its purpose exactly. I guess it is quite subjective wink

Re: "Error" column name

If the state column shows no issues, then why does the Error column shows "Ok"? Should not it show "Errors: none" as there are no errors?

Re: "Error" column name

"Error=OK" is commonly used in software and various protocols to signify that no errors have occurred. Furthermore, "Error=None" could be misunderstood as if the operation didn't run at all.

As I said, it is quite subjective.

Just curious - do you have an example?
