The "Extension" rule always adds extension in ALLCAPS.
But a majority of users want it in lowercase.
This forces them to use CASE rule to convert the case.
This is tedious.

Instead, by default, the extension should be in lowercase.
Please add a sub-option (or a configuration choice) to make the extension ALLCAPS (radio button).

I believe the idea was to make the detected extension more prominent, but perhaps it wasn't the best idea.

Making the extension lower case by default is fine, but I am against adding another option to change extension to ALLCAPS. This option is rightly located in the Case rule.

I agree.
My suggestion was just in case anyone wanted ALLCAPS.
