Not at the moment, but this feature will appear on the next release (v3.00).

I'm currently working on it, but not sure yet when it will be ready....

Re: Can i close a program via Web interface?

I might have to release an intermediate version before the 3.00 release, just to fix up a bug in 2.85.

Your feature will be in version 3.00, but not in the 2.xx line... don't get surprised wink

Re: Can i close a program via Web interface?

No, there is no such function. But you can set the dialup connection to be dialled automatically when computer wants to access internet, so all you'll need to do is just open some web site. For example, you can use "Run Program" option, to run something like that: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" den4b.com  - this will open den4b.com via IE, making it start the dialup.

yes, i have tried your method. But shutter will crash after IE is being open. Is it a bug or my matter?

Re: Can i close a program via Web interface?

I tried it with the latest version 2.90, and it worked fine.... What is your Windows version?

Can you also send me Shutter.ini, so I can test it with your settings?

Re: Can i close a program via Web interface?

Ohhh.. I understand now! Shutter did not actually "crash" wink

Here is something that you should be aware of.....

From Shutter 2.50, the execution order of pre-shutdown procedures is as follows:
1. Play Sound (if shutdown message to be shown - don't wait for sound to finish);
2. Show Shutdown Message (cancelling will result in stopping the playing sound);
3. Run Program (always wait until program is closed/terminated);
4. Close Windows that match Titles (don't wait).

Read carefully the 3-rd point. Shutter never crushed, it simply waits until IE is closed. The "run program" feature is made for execution of batch files (or something like that), just before the action get executed. Also, if the action is Shutdown/Reboot/Logoff/Lock - it defiantly need to wait until program finishes execution, otherwise, it will be terminated with the system shutdown.

In the next major release, v3.00, there will be an option to WAIT or NOT WAIT for the program to finish!

NOTE: For workaround, read the next post, which happened to be on the next page!
