PascalScript functionality for non modal messages inside of ReNamer?

Sometimes we needn't to input any values into the program's message boxes, sometimes we need just to be informed that anything went wrong or everything was well during the operation / view its summary (i. e. onEvent).

Has ReNamer an ability to display a hint on a user's screen or a just a text on its statusbar from any of existing Pascal commands? Or is such a functionality planned in roadmap of the app?

I think some app's events can be useful for popping up a hint after them:

  • Drag-and-Drop (get info in a script about currently selected file(s) or whole old/future filelist)

  • Error while reading file tags

  • Changing a preset, exporting it

  • Error while renaming (e. g. file was moved)

  • Ability to control restoring of previous file names

  • Adding a rule (both notification to status bar about such event and ability to do this with a script)

  • Adding some files (by Open dialogue or with DnD)

  • Opening/closing another project, switching between 'em

  • Rule or rule-list has changed

  • Some app's options have changed

  • Maybe ability to change rule-list or current rule(s) settings, to open a rule's GUI

  • And so on (API thru Pascal)
