Add tags to files

Hi, sorry if this was already asked, I tried to find a solution in the forum, but gave up.

I would like to add "tags" to files. I tried to use the "details view" in Windows Explorer but some files (pdf for example) don't have the option to add a tag.

Can anyone give me a hint where I could add tags in the ReNamer? I am sure there must be a way, but I am no coding whizz and my logical brain side is rather challenged

You can apply a wide range of meta tags via Insert and Replace rules, among other ways.

Simply click on the "Insert Meta Tag" button.
