HDD Activity Event?

I'm using Shutter as an extremely powerful and flexible system standby timer and I hit a roadblock when I realized that my system would standby while doing it's automated backups.

Is implementing a HDD Activity Event a possibility for a future release?

Re: HDD Activity Event?

It is a possibility, but I will need to investigate it a bit before I can say whether it is feasible in the near future.

In the meantime, if you have a specific process performing a backup you can add an event to monitor that this process is not running.

Re: HDD Activity Event?

I have good news!

There is now a "Hard Disk Usage" event in Shutter. You can try it from the latest development version.

Note: This event is supported only on Windows XP and later versions!
