It be possible to load files using regex (instead of only matching extensions)? Ex: load all files that contains adagio or andante...

Similarly, is it possible to load (and also select once loaded) files that match some attributes (like Rating) or metatag (like Bit Rate)?

Hi and welcome, Cannelle.
Try 'Add Folders' > Browse to your folder > utilize 'Filter Settings' > Mask Include: *adagio*

Another way is to first add all files and then use

Also you can utilize WinExplorer > Search box *adagio* > View Details > select and drag&drop to ReNamer

Hi Stefan,
I found a way, by adding a rule that specifies the targeted files, marking only the modified files, and clearing all non marked.
But I think it would be more straightforward to allow regex as a filter. Is this in the cards?
Thanks for your suggestions.

I don't know if den4b will add or already have full RegEx support to filter files to include.
But as shown and linked, you can use
*adagio*;*andante*
in the filter mask to match files with
'adagio' or 'andante'
in their name.
I tried f.ex. with "*span*;*ger*" to load all files with Spanish or German in their name.

Currently, include and exclude masks in the Filter Settings operate as wildcards.
RegEx based filtering can be implemented as an option, if there is a demand for it.
