I have 2 folders with a file IMG_20060618_030000.jpg
I added both files to the list and applied the "Fix conflicting new names" setup.
Both files got the same new name - IMG_20060618_030000.jpg.
I suppose this happened because they located in different folders.
If there is a option to ignore the location when using conflict name fixing?
In my case, 1 file should have been renamed to IMG_20060618_030000 (2).jpg
That is correct, the built-in option takes into account the full path of files when checking for conflicts.
However, a bundled "Serialize duplicates" script in the Pascal Script rule will do exactly what you need.
