There are few known issues with Hooker which are summarized below.
Handling of special keys and key combinations:
- ALT key codes: typing ALT + 1 should result in "☺" (smiley face), but only ALT is getting recorded.
Dead keys: typing ` + e should result in è, but results in e in the active window and `e recorded by Hooker.- SHIFT key: deliberately not being displayed because it would get shown with every capital letter, but now pressing CTRL + SHIFT results only in CTRL being shown.
Anti-virus software can mark Hooker's activity as suspicious or dangerous due to the nature of the application. For more information please refer to: Virus alert.
