Save window sizes

Can the app save the last size of the main window, the Add Rule dialog etc. to its INI and restore when the program is closed and run again? I hate having to always maximize the app every single time I use it, and also the dialog so I can have a bigger area to edit PascalScript.

Yes it can save main window size. You have an option to maximize main window and restore it after next start of ReNamer in General Settings (Remember last position and size - main window only). About rule dialog I'm afraid that there is no such option. But I noticed some flaw when maximizing/restoring window. I'll post in bug section...

Re: Save window sizes

Oh yeah, there is a setting after all for the main window size! tongue Thanks for pointing it out!

As for saving the rule dialog's size, I'd really like that to be added as an option under General Settings as well.

Re: Save window sizes

All these years later this setting is still missing and still sorely missed by me. Having to maximize the Analyze dialog and especially the Rules dialog every time I need to add/edit PascalScript is a real PITA. mad

Re: Save window sizes

There has been some progress on this front.

I have developed a general purpose unit for remembering position and size of forms which is being tested on Hasher currently. Once any potential issues have been ironed out it will probably make its way into other products.

Re: Save window sizes

Excellent, looking forward to it being implemented across the board.
