Re: Different languages and localization

Good to hear that! But unfortunately there are no language files for renamer. At the moment, translation can only be done with specialized programs like: Restorator, Multilizer, etc. (none of them are free). That is how Russian and Ukrainian versions were created.

is modifying the resource is the only way? i think I saw an open source resource editor before.. but that's is not so powerful to create ini or xml files..

Re: Different languages and localization

This Resource Hacker might work, but will require a lot of labor. You will have to go through each form definition (RCData section) and edit all Captions and Hints, also edit some strings (Strings Table section). It is possible, but the most annoying part about it is that if you do it for one version, it will not be portable for the next version.

You could try it to see how far you get with it...

P.S. It has a bug, I just notified the author. You not gonna be able to open the form definition for FORM_ABOUT.

Re: Different languages and localization

I was planning to add this a long time ago, but due the luck of free time and the underlining complexity - I always moved it for the future.

Re: Different languages and localization

Me too, I want to translate your great work.
I can do the French and/or Serbian translation.

You can contact me when the multi-language is OK.
