Unrelated sets of events and actions

I would like to have 2 unrelated event-action conditions trigger, but am unable to understand how to accomplish this.

i.e.

when ping stops - reboot
when program 'a' starts- start program 'b'

Re: Unrelated sets of events and actions

Shutter is designed to run a single schedule at a time.

To run two independent schedules simultaneously, simply start two instances of Shutter, one per schedule.

Re: Unrelated sets of events and actions

Thanks for the response.
So now I have 2 instances running (I think).
I can see 3 Backround Processes of Shutter in the task list.
Hovering over the Shutter Icon in the Task Bar doesn't show any instances of the running tasks.
How do I see what's active?

Re: Unrelated sets of events and actions

You can start as many instances of Shutter as you like. They will work independently from each other.

If you start two instances, you should see two Shutter's main windows, two entries in the taskbar, two tray icons, and two associated processes in the Task Manager.

For example:

All what's left to do is to click "Start" in both of them.
