Re: ReNamer - "Overwrite files with New Names"

In the Settings:
Warning: Overwritten files will be deleted permanently (must be successfully confirmed by user).

Use this option with caution!! It will let ReNamer overwrite files with new filenames, for example: If you have file "c:\temp\file.txt" and trying to rename it to "file2.txt", but "c:\temp\file2.txt" already exists - it will be overwritten by file "c:\temp\file.txt" if that option is turned on! For extra safety, you'll get a confirmation message first:

Original Name: <some filename>
New Name: <some new filename>
New Name is already taken by another file, delete that file permanently?

If you confirm successfully, already existing file "c:\temp\file2.txt" will be deleted, and file "c:\temp\file.txt" will be renamed to "file2.txt" (i.e. "c:\temp\file2.txt" ).

Hope it explains smile
