Replacing meta data?

Hi All,

I have some mp3 files that have a correctly formatted filename eg "01_This Song is For You.mp3" but the ID3_title information has picked up some different text eg "Song" as the song title in the Description part of the properties.  I can't seem to find a rule which will allow me to copy the filename or part of into the metatag ID3 area?

Can anyone help?

regards

Re: Replacing meta data?

ReNamer is not an ID3 tag editor. (It can work in the the other direction: Tag -> name).
To edit the tags, please use a tag editor like mp3bookhelper etc.
You can browse the tags (in columns) and also compose the tags based on file name.

Re: Replacing meta data?

You are welcome! smile

mp3tag is another great software that edits ID3 tags.
(Some people may prefer this GUI compared to mp3bookhelper).
