save log file

hi!

Unfortunately, I cannot save the file in any form without specifying an extension. I want to specify a file name, and the extension goes automatically according to the chosen file format. Is it possible?
Also I don't understand what mean use filename only or use file path.

So what prevents you from saving the log file without an extension? Can you describe your actions step by step?

These file formats do not have mandatory file extensions. They can have any extension as well as no extension at all.

The Simple File Verification format naturally hints the *.sfv extension, but the Sum file format has no common extension.

The content of the file will contain either full file paths or just file names, without the path component.

Try both options and compare the output to see the difference.
