Search and replace a sequence of characters common to several files

Hi Den, hi all,

is there a way to search and replace a sequence of characters common to several files, as would PowerGREP, Text Crawler or Notepad++ do ?

This sequence would be inside the file (ie many MS Office or LibreOffice with a texte containing "hello" replaced by "good day" for example smile)

Thanks.

It is possible to do this using the Pascal Script rule, but ReNamer is not really designed for such purpose. Especially the handling of complex document formats, like those produced by MS Office and LibreOffice, would require a compatible reader and writer of those formats.

I would suggest using a more suitable tool for this job.
