Preset Manager shortcut not available at launch

with 5.50 beta 35 (and 5.50 as well)
After launching the only way to open the preset manager is via the menu
The control+m shortcut does not work
The hidden window "Presets Manager ahk_class TForm_PresetsManager" seems not build.
Regards, Yogui.

Re: Preset Manager shortcut not available at launch

I could no reproduce your issue with the latest version of ReNamer v5.50+ Beta 44. After starting ReNamer, the shortcut Ctrl+M brings up the Preset Manager as expected.

Maybe some software on your computer interferes with this specific shortcut?

Re: Preset Manager shortcut not available at launch

When ReNamer is empty i.e. no rules or files to be renamed, when is clicked on files table nothing happens. But when you click once on rules area Preset Manager is shown. Ctrl+M is also assigned to select by mask option in file table so that could be the issue. It pops up only when there is at least one file. Cheers

Re: Preset Manager shortcut not available at launch

I have both ReNamer 5.50 and Beta 44.  In both cases, as long as there's at least one preset, Ctrl-m launches the preset manager immediately after starting ReNamer (no files, no rules).

Re: Preset Manager shortcut not available at launch

Yes, the clash in the shortcuts is what causing this behaviour. Both "preset manager" and "mark by mask" have Ctrl+M shortcut, so when you focus on the files table (click on it) the "mark by mask" option will be executed, otherwise, "preset manager" will be called.

So... Which shortcut is to go? Any suggestions? (Vote?)

Hi!
Well spot eR@SeR!
And thanks for all replies.
Is Control+Shift+m an option?
Shortcuts control sensitive... that's fancy but I'm sure most users will get confuse (as I did!)
Probably vote which ever is less used, I don't have a preference.

Re: Preset Manager shortcut not available at launch

Maybe Ctrl+P (Preset Manager)?
It's free letter, suitable and less key combination than Ctrl+Shift+M...

Re: Preset Manager shortcut not available at launch

I have changed the shortcut for Presets Manager to Ctrl+P, it seemed like a best alternative. smile
