Old File Name to Meta data Title

Hope someone can help!

I would like to copy the FileName of numerous images to the Title field in the MetaData (in ReNamer it is 'ID3_Title'). The reason being I have received thousands of images with 'bad' filenames, I would like to change the filenames, but retain the original filename in the Title field within the metadata.

Any suggestions????

Unfortuantely, ReNamer is meant to change the NAME of the files, but not their contents.

There are 3 solutions for you:

1) Try Mp3tag freeware tool, which migh let you do that.

2) Try Tag freeware commandline tool, which should let you do that.

3) Tag tool (above) can be combined together with ReNamer using PascalScript rule.
