Meta tag date format in command line?

Hello,

Is there a way to get the Metatag setting for the data format to be used, when running ReNamer from the command line?

I have the date format at "yyyymmddhhnnss". When I run the program through the GUI, it runs fine. When I run it from the command line, it ignores the date format and puts it as "2024-02-08 01-02-16" instead of "20240208130216."

Any help you could provide would be great!

Thank You

Re: Meta tag date format in command line?

We could not reproduce your issue using the latest version of ReNamer 7.5 on Windows 10. The date format that was configured in the settings was correctly applied via the ":Date_Now:" meta tag in the command line renaming mode. Note that you must close the running instance of ReNamer for any changes to settings to be saved in the configuration file on disk, before proceeding with the command line renaming mode.

Can you reproduce this issue in a fresh setup, using a portable version of ReNamer 7.5 in a temporary folder, and outline the exact steps taken to reproduce the issue?

Re: Meta tag date format in command line?

Thank you! Closing the running instance of ReNamer did the trick. I still had the instance running.
