Re: How to save renamed files in new folder?

thanks!

well, in general i understand this as "it's complicated".

my biggest problem is that when I rename files they have name collisions so I have to replace them and then manually take from backup copy and add replaced ones.

my point is, that there is no problem to move file to sub folder (just add 'subfolder/' before filename). So if this could be done only when the file is renamed it would be almost perfect.

I think Stefan misunderstood your question. He though you asked about copying files as opposed to renaming.

Renaming files into another folder is very easy, simply insert the folder name as "New Folder\" or "C:\New Folder\" in front of the filename using "Insert" rule.
