Hello,
I want to automatize some renaming tasks.
So I want to use the command line options.
I already built a preset renaming the files.
Folder example:
092358.jpg
beta%20295723.jpg
test_083372.jpg
test_722462.jpg
alpha%20764245.jpg
Renaming shall work like this:
remove %20
remove beta
remove alpha
add in front of the filename test_
result (not sorted):
test_092358.jpg
test_295723.jpg
test_083372.jpg
test_722462.jpg
test_764245.jpg
this works so far if I manually insert the files.
The problem is selecting the right files when using the command line with only the folder.
I can use a filter to select all test_* but I can't filter inverse.
I just want to process all files not beginning with test_
Same with thumbs.db (workaround is making it hidden)
So I'm looking for a filter option to not select files by mask.
Thank you - great software by the way.

That's a good suggestion, thanks.
It's now on the list for future implementation.

Exclusion filter masks have been added in ReNamer 6.2.0.1 Beta.

This was really fast!
And it works
Thank you very much, I'll definitely renew my license when it expires.
P.S.: I thoutght future implementation means weeks to months... I was wrong

I thought future implementation means weeks to months... I was wrong
For some ideas it could even take years. Complexity, implementation time, usefulness, etc - they all affect the priority of new features.
In this case the odds worked in your favor!
