Commercial use of ReNamer requires a Pro license. Licenses are sold per computer, with an Unlimited option that covers every computer in the firm. The license itself does not expire. Paid updates last for the maintenance period listed on the purchase page.
Useful starting points:
For batch renaming and a repeatable archive step before backup, save the rule set as a preset and reuse it from the UI or the command line. Preview first, then rename.
If you can post an anonymized example (current filenames, desired filenames), we can suggest a concrete rule set.
