Point and bracket as last character in folder name

If the last character in folder name are a point and bracket ".)" the point and bracket can not modified (deleted, removed, replaced).

Hi mathew, welcome.

I just guess for all this rules the default "[X] skip extension" is set?
If yes, then you have told ReNamer to skip all behind the last dot (because this is taken as extension)

And an folder name is nothing more then an files name but with an attribute 'D' set.
Maybe you want to read an old related discus about that http://www.den4b.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=454

Many thanks for the quick answer.

Yes, it is. Ok, the problem is the program doesn't distinguish between folder names and file names in this case.
I will try to avoid such names.

Thanks.
