MOSS 2007 SharePoint File Prep: \ / : * ? " < > | # { }
Does the ReNamer > CleanUp "prepare for SharePoint" check box remove all SharePoint prohibited special characters:
\ / : * ? " < > | # { } % ~ &

Well, I just made the test and it removes all that symbols but the { } are replaced with ( )

That is correct. Illegal characters are removed and { } are replaced with ( )
