Re: Multilanguage

Thanks you for your will to help!

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if easy translation will be possible in the nearest future, if ever.

Please, refer to these topics for more details:

Re: Multilanguage

Yeah i read it...
Am...Denis Kozlov? Русский?
Why Russian Developer didn't translate program on his own language?)

We (me and my friend) can suggest you help with this part of program.
We suggest you to export all strings to .INI UTF-8 file.
Everytime when program will be loaded it will be read all strings from this files.
It's very easy system. I think that is better than translate sources of program.

Russian.ini

----------------- ver. 5.3 ---------------

[Settings]
All Settings = Все опции
General = Главные
..

----------------- ver. 5.4 ---------------

[Settings]
New Setting 1 = Новая опция 1

In new versions you need only to add some blocks. That's all.
We can help you with coding of it.

Try my ICQ#: 496-270-130

I hope you speak on Russia Денис ... было бы гораздо легче общаться на родном языке.

Re: Multilanguage

Pierrot, Mauricio,

Thanks for your will to help me translate the program. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to do this as of to date. There are several topics regarding this area which discuss possible ways for translation.

Regarding the INI files, I gave the reason in one of those topics why I am not going this route...

Unfortunately, the Internationalization process is very-very time consuming. I'm not ready to make a Multi-Lingual User Interface, since I'm a single developer and developing only in my free time. I prefer an idea that it would be better that I spend free time that I do get - improving my tools, making them more powerful, flexible, and easy to use. Again, making my programs support translations - will require a lot of time and effort, and will dramatically slow down the development process, since it would require the language files to be updated on every release...
